Experienced Dump Truck Operators – CAT 777 & 785

BK Civil Group is a diverse private enterprise operating in the civil construction and related industries.

We are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for ongoing FIFO roles.

We have positions available for an immediate start

• Proven experience operating CAT 777 and/or 785
• Minimum 1 year experience operating CAT 777 and/or 785 dump trucks
• Relevant RII tickets no less than 12 months old
• Ability to pass a strict pre-employment medical
• Current Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
• CPR, Fire Awareness, and Manual Handling training(preferred)
• Australian work rights essential
• 2/1 roster
• FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter with earthmoving plant experience to join our team in a permanent full-time role, supporting our project-based maintenance operations.

This is a site-based FIFO role operating on a 14/7 mine site roster in North West Qld, with flights provided from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Trade qualified heavy vehicle diesel fitter
• Experience with earthmoving equipment
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent organisational skills showing initiative
• Work in an unsupervised environment to required timeframes
• Pass standard drug and alcohol testing
• Strong commitment to Safety and Quality 
• A Current Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence with HR or HC desirable
• Forklift ticket is desirable
• White card is essential
• Ability to work permanently in Australia with no restrictions

BK Civil Group is a diverse private enterprise operating in the civil construction and related industries. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and self-driven truck drivers. We are seeking experienced drivers for local and away work with various projects who have a focus on safety.

We have positions available for immediate start with regular hours or on call casual basis

• Will be required to operate Semi Side Tippers and/or Truck & Dog Tippers.
• Minimum of HC – Unrestricted Open License is essential.
• Permanent full-time and/or casual roles available

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a broad skill set with an aptitude for finding solutions. Average of 10-hour shifts and home each night (when working locally)

Skills and experience:

• A high level of safety awareness and culture is a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Manual 18 speed road ranger experience preferred
• Good driving record and ability to obtain national police clearance 
• Adhere to all site safety protocols and SOP’s
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug tests
• Previous experience essential

• Plant tickets would be an advantage ie: loader, digger
