About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Yard Person to join our team in Toowoomba (Immediate start available). You will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation, maintenance, and cleanliness of our yard and equipment, ensuring everything is ready to support our active project sites and hire operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised yard environment
  • Assist with loading and unloading plant, equipment, tools, and materials
  • Movement of heavy equipment around the yard
  • Conduct routine cleaning of machinery and plant equipment
  • Carry out on hire/off hire inspections of equipment and generate reports
  • Assist workshop and site teams with equipment preparation and delivery
  • Comply with company safety standards and procedures

About You

  • Experience in a similar yard, workshop, or construction support role
  • Ability to work independently
  • Current truck drivers licence (minimum Heavy Rigid)
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) highly regarded
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to operate various earthmoving equipment items (RII competencies desirable but not essential)
