24 years of experience in the civil, construction, road work, manufacturing, service, gas infrastructure and mining industries. Jim’s experience in the industry includes creating, managing, and implementing safety systems and programs, accreditation, the preparation of safety plans for domestic and offshore projects and tenders, implementing safety systems on new sites, risk management, managing HSE and staff on site, including staff training. Jim believes that the most rewarding aspect of safety is creating a culture in which genuine practical safety outcomes can be reached.

Chris has successfully worked as a Civil and Infrastructure Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Mining Consultant and Underground Mining Electrical Trades Person/Supervisor. For the past 6 years, Chris has been providing Project Management services in a variety of industries but predominantly mining based clients. Throughout this time, he has coordinated a wide range of projects which includes both civil and mining earth works, tailings dam construction and related mining infrastructure. Chris holds tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering and is currently a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) as a Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM).

With over 15 years of experience in Civil Infrastructure Engineering, Craig has successfully contributed to a wide range of projects including roads, bridges, and structures across Queensland and New South Wales. His expertise spans working with state, local, and private enterprises, delivering quality outcomes in every project.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (BEng) and is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). He is also a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards in the engineering field.

Cathy boasts 15+ years in the civil construction and oil & gas industries. She has extensive knowledge in heavy plant & trucks from hire and maintenance to asset acquisition and disposal. As Hire Operations Manager, Cathy ensures the operational side of the business is running efficiently and compliant with all industry, legislative and internal requirements.

Paul has nearly four decades of experience in the construction industry and has successfully fulfilled numerous roles from operating machinery to managing projects across QLD and NSW. Projects include Agriculture (Feedlots, Cotton developments, Pump Stations), Coal Seam Gas Industry (CSG Infrastructure works, Holding Ponds, Hardstands), Mining (predominantly tailings dam construction and maintenance), Private Enterprise (subdivision developments) and State and Local Government works including road infrastructure.

Clay started his BK Civil Group journey as a Boilermaker and worked hard to complete his Diesel Mechanic trade whilst fulfilling his Boilermaker duties. He is now a dual trade qualified and has come a long way over the last 17 years as a tradie to now manage the heavy plant side of our Workshop. As Plant Maintenance Manager he believes hard work and communication are the fundamentals for running a successful team.

Trevor has a Diploma in Business Management and two Mechanical Trades. This, along with a career in the Oil & Gas, Transport, Coal Mining and Power Generation sectors allows him to draw on his knowledge and experience to successfully manage and deliver maintenance solutions to the companies growing fleet of transport equipment.

With over 25 years of experience in the transport industry, Lou has honed his skills across a wide range of sectors, including General Freight, Oil & Gas, and Construction. Starting his career as a driver/operator, Lou quickly advanced into leadership roles, where he has taken on increasing responsibilities for managing transport operations. His extensive background spans everything from small-scale projects to large, cross-country transport movements.

Throughout his career, Lou has consistently focused on building strong, collaborative teams and ensuring that operations are not only efficient and cost-effective but also safe. His hands-on approach, combined with his strategic oversight, enables him to deliver successful outcomes for a diverse range of transport projects.
